China reports trade surplus of 11.1b USD

(March 10) According to the latest statistics from the General
Administration of Customs, China's foreign trade amounted to 179.46
billion US dollars in the first two months of this year, an increase of
21.7% year on year. Export jumped 36.6% to 95.28 billion US dollars and
import increased 8.3% to 84.18 billion US dollars in January and
February, bringing the country a 11.1 billion US dollar surplus.
