Chongqing's waterway freight volume tops all

It is learnt that Chongqing's 2004 waterway freight volume accounted for
46.28% of the city's overall freight volume, surpassing railway freight
for the first time (railway freight only accounted for 32.59%). Its
Yangtze River "golden waterway" advantage is increasingly evident.
